No games to report on last Saturday as the 1st team home game against Telford Hornets was postponed for the third time and the 2nd team game against Newcastle (Staffs) 3rds was postponed for the second time due to waterlogged playing surfaces at the RCI Sportsway.
However, one Burntwood player who did see action was Dan Clements. He was selected for Staffordshire U20s in their opening fixture in the Jason Leonard County Championship away to Warwickshire at Broadstreet RFC on Sunday.
He turned in a fine performance and contributed two tries as the county side dominated the game to win 64-12.
