There may have been no league games for Burntwood RUFC last weekend but three players and three club coaches were involved in the Staffordshire U20s fixture against North Midlands played at Stafford RUFC on Sunday.
Kian Carter, Max Liggins and Alex Rich were in the squad which is led by Head Coach Steve Harris assisted by Luke Rookyard and Tim Liggins.
The county side opened their Jason Leonard Midlands Pool 2 fixture with a win by 24-7 as they look to defend the Midlands title which they won last season.
The next fixture is scheduled for Sunday, 5th May when they travel to face Warwickshire.
